I am a Danish artist based south of Aarhus, Jutland. I`m inspired by the universe of children, nature, shadows and light. Quite ordinary situations can cast a very exciting shadow depending on the influence of the light. I find this immediate expression extremely interesting.

An immediate and playful approach to life is often found in the world of children. From my own childhood, I remember that I often observed the adults around me while wondering why they didn't just do what they wanted to do most. Free from worries, I could then put on a pair of shoes and run outside and play until I was called in for the evening.
In my works, I depict motifs from the universe of children. My desire is to depict play and what goes on in play, not just what you first see, but also the emotions and trials that are involved.

The children who appear in my works are not typical of their time. They are most often children from another time. Their clothes, hairstyles and the frames around them should have a little "patina", I think it gives the atmosphere soul and awakens a lovely feeling of nostalgia when you look at it.
